Texas Shootout in August! General

07.06.28 Austin, Texas: Texas floorball is heating up this summer! The Austin Floorball Club is excited to announce the Texas Shootout; a one day tournament featuring a series of friendly games between the Dallas Floorball Club and the hometown crew in Austin.

The two organizations are combining resources to bring about this historic event; Dallas is bringing the star of the show; a brand new set of Kosofinn boards and Austin is providing their new regulation sized venue at the Chaparral Ice Center North. Texas Floorball has never been better!

The Chaparral Ice Center North has recently added a second ice rink that will remain “ice-less” each summer; the floor is incredibly smooth and level making it a great venue for floorball. Add just the second set of regulation floorball boards in entire USA and you have the perfect conditions to showcase the sport for a whole new audience! Come out to the Chaparral Ice Center and root for the Finnish expats or the homegrown Austin underdogs! BBQ or Tex Mex afterwards at a local eatery TBA!

Floorball California's Report from the U.S. Championships!

10.08.31 The US National floorball Championship tournament hosted by myself, Erik Larsson of floorballca.com, was played August 14-15, 2010 at The-Rinks in Huntington Beach, California. It was played in combination with the 3rd annual US Open Championships.

The USFA becomes the USFbA!
As you might have noticed the USA Floorball Association acronym has been changing on the website. The work is not yet complete but we feel we should inform everyone why. The simple fact is that the USFA is the US Fencing Associaton.

We where not aware of this and aplogise to the USFA for any inconvinience this might have caused them. We also send thanks for their understanding in this matter.

We will continue the work with changing the acronyms on the website until it is complete. So from now on the USA Floorball Association is know as the USFbA.
