Sweden Will be Our Toughest Opponent! Woman

09.11.26 USA: Now time has come for a few words from Tiffany Winklar. Based in Switzerland she not only plays on the team but has been a huge part in the preparations for the World Championships.
With two brothers who played the game is was only a matter of time until she joined in on the fun.
Why she keeps on going? “Because I love it!!! I need the balance between work and sports.” She says.
She does have a clear picture of how to get floorball going in the states.“I think the interest needs to start in schools. That's how it started in Switzerland. If the kids get to know this sport when they are little, the chances that they stay with the sport is much bigger!!“
She is hoping for some fun during the tournament but is ready for some tough games.“I hope that we will stand together as a team, fight as a team and do our best. So we can be satisfied after the tournament.”She reveals.
Which team will be the toughest? Sweden is the obvious answer for Winkler. She thinks Sweden will face off against Switzerland in the final.
What spectators should expect from the U.S. team?“They will see a team that fights for their country, that never gives up, and that is proud to be able to play at the WFC2009!!”

The USFA becomes the USFbA! As you might have noticed the USA Floorball Association acronym has been changing on the website. The work is not yet complete but we feel we should inform everyone why. The simple fact is that the USFA is the US Fencing Associaton.
We where not aware of this and aplogise to the USFA for any inconvinience this might have caused them. We also send thanks for their understanding in this matter.
We will continue the work with changing the acronyms on the website until it is complete. So from now on the USA Floorball Association is know as the USFbA. |
