Team USA for the Men’s WFCQ 2018 set!

Updated: November 10, 2017

In February USA will face off with Canada for a spot at the World Floorball Championships in the Czech Republic in December and now the team for the event is set.

The selection process continues to be a tough challenge with more and more players vying for a spot on the US national team and head coach Stefan Hedlund is confident he has put together a competitive team.

“The squad feels well balanced. We have succeeded in a generational shift where many of the older players have completed their national team career. Despite this, the squad looks extremely strong and competent”, says Stefan Hedlund and continues.

“The World Games has given us new energy and I hope that we can bring along the skills and experiences we had in the meetings with Poland, Sweden and Switzerland. Now it’s time for us to perform our best floorball so we can experience another World Championships. Canada won when we arranged the latest qualification in Colorado Springs so going to Canada and defeating them on their home field is a tough challenge.”

Many of the details of the qualifier are still in the works but Team USA is ready to go!
