This coming weekend the U.S. men’s national floorball team are heading to Reykjavík for two games against Iceland as part of the preparations for the WFC which is on the road to Birmingham and the World Games in 2021.

The team will gather Friday the 8th of November to kick off the camp that will feature games against Iceland on both Saturday and Sunday.

“This will be our starting point towards the World Championship next year and of course World Games in Birmingham 2021,” says head coach Joel Olofsson and continues.

“It will be a good mix of old and new players. Some players have years of experience with team USA, some are coming up from the U19-team and for some this will be their first time with the national team. Our focus will be building a foundation for the upcoming events.”

The first game will be played at 7 pm GMT at the Digranes arena on Saturday while the second game is at 3 pm GMT on Sunday in the same arena.

There is currently no information as to if the games will be streamed but if so updates will be posted in the USA Floorball channels.
