Two tough losses to start the WFC!

2019 WFC - USA v Singapore

Team USA have lost their two first games of the World Floorball Championships in Neuchatel, Switzerland, despite solid efforts, up next, Thailand.

In the first game team USA faced Australia. USA struck first as Christine Lindberg scored the games initial goal, 0-1, but Australia responded with a quick goal from Yasmin Skene before the midpoint of the first. After this the teams went toe to toe but once Australia got a 3-2 lead through Blaise Hodges at 11:25 of the second the US team where never able to come back. They did get close though scoring the games final goal, 5-4 with just under six minutes to play through Selma Johansson.

In their second game team USA faced Singapore and they came out strong! Goals by both Vera Niskanen and Marie Haggstrom meant they where up 2-1 after the first period. But after that it was all Singapore and team USA fell 2-7.
