Updated: September 8, 2021

During the end of August the US Women’s national team had a camp in Motala, Sweden, where the gathered players got a chance to meet the team’s new coaches, practice and play two games.

The camp was hosted at “Mallbodens Café och Vandrarhem” for the third time and featured thirteen European based players.

The new coaching staff from IBF Falun was onsite to lead the camp. This included head coach Daniel Dalbjer, assistant coach Niklas Dalbjer and equipment manager Jonas Karlsson.

The camp was fully sponsored by “Mallbodens Café och Vandrarhem, read more about them here, and included a couple practices as well as games. Team USA took on the Allswedish team Linköpings IBF and lost 1-4 but defeated Solfjäderstaden’s junior team by 6-4.

The players at camp as well as the team that played at the US Nationals and a few other skilled players will be the group that the coming WFC team will be selected from during September.
