Development Camp Big Hit!

USA Floorball took over the beautiful Round Rock Sports Complex in Austin, Texas to host a two-day development camp.

The camp took place on the 31st of July and 1st of August. Players came from all over Texas, and as far away as California, Pennsylvania, and Finland to experience Floorball at the national team level. On hand were USA Floorball President Calle Karlsson, US Women's coach Anne Jumppanen, Director of Referees Vince Faso as well as Lars Halvardsson, who took care of the goaltenders.

Players of all experience levels from beginners to those with international experience took part in drills and learned skills and tactics used by the National Teams that they could take back to their clubs. The camp was much appreciated by all and USA Floorball hopes to host more of these camps in the future.

The state of Texas has become a veritable hot bed for floorball in recent years, and the development camp was put on in connection with the third annual South West Invitational Floorball Tournament, SWIFT.
