USA Floorball announces the Men's U19 Coaching Staff

USA Floorball and General Manager Jonas Laeben, are pleased to announce the Men's U19 coaching staff and organization. General Manager Laeben, Assistant Manager Mike Bonelli, Head Coach Joel Olofsson and Assistant Coaches Dave Beaudin and Daniel Palm are taking aim at the 8th Men´s U19 World Floorball Championships in 2015.

Jonas Laeben is very satisfied with the outcome of the staff selection. "We have found a very unique and competent group that will bring their knowledge and experiences from their various backgrounds in hockey and floorball. I am very much looking forward to the rest of this journey."

Mike Bonelli joins the U19 organization with over 20 years of experience from the ice hockey community. Bonelli has managed hockey programs with the Harvey School, Plymouth State University and several others institutions in his managerial tenure. He currently serves as a Section Coordinator for the USA Hockey, American Development Model in New York and as the Coaching Education Section Coordinator for Eastern New York.

Joel Olofsson will make his debut as a coach on the international level. The native Swede joins USA Floorball's organization after having served as an assistant coach to FC Helsingborg in the Swedish Super League during the 2013-2014 season. Olofsson has also coached several youth teams in Helsingborg since 2003. His record includes a silver medal in the Swedish Championship for B16 in 2010, third place in the Swedish Championship for B16 in 2014, a gold medal in JAS Elite Cup in 2011 and a third place in Gothia Cup for B16 in 2010.

Dave Beaudin is an ice hockey and floorball coach from Canada that has been active for over 25 years. In 2001, Beaudin served as a Head Coach for USA Hockey's B17 Player Development Camps. More recently, Beaudin transitioned to floorball and has served as a Player Development Coach for Floorball Florida since 2009 and as an assistant coach to the Canadian Men's U19 Team in 2012.

Daniel Palm is a floorball coach from Sweden that has been active since 2006. Palm currently coaches floorball in New York City and has previously served as both a head coach and as an assistant coach within the youth section of FC Helsingborg.

The U.S is directly qualified to the 8th Men´s U19 World Floorball Championships that will be played April 1^st to May 3^rd 2015 in Helsingborg, Sweden. If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please email Jonas@usfba.org.
