Second loss for the Womens Team!

Unfortunately the Women's team lost the second game as well.

This game it took almost half of the first period before either team scored. Canada took the lead, 0-1.

Team USA created a lot of pressure but didn't find the net until the end of the second 1-1.

With an entire period left to play there was still hope. But Canada where next to light up the board as they once again took the lead, 1-2 after about seven minutes of the third.

Team USA did not give up but where unable to overcome the Canadian team and lost 1-2 and the qualifier by a combined score of 5-9.

This means the Canadian team will move on to the playoff stage and Team USA will have to wait for another qualifier in two years for another shot at the playoffs.

We wish Canada the best of luck at the World Championship playoffs.
