USA Drop Physical Game Against Australia

Team USA would take the lead against Australia and play hard on the defense but the strong Australian team would come back to win 1-8 and complete the group stage undefeated.

Both teams come out hard. Team USA battle hard in their own zone looking to lock down the sharp Australian team that came to the game with two wins. To the immense joy of the supporting crowd Team USA strikes first with Joshua Verschleiser gathering up a ball by the goal and getting it in.

Unfortunately this would turn out to be the only goal by team USA and Australia would turn things around. Australia's William Crawford equalized the score at 1-1 with under five minutes left of the first period, which was the result after the first. Then the scoring all belonged to Australia.

Team USA created a number of chances and Max PÃ¥lsson in the USA goal would make 20 saves in the game but Australia came out on top with a final score of 1-8.
