The WFC Qualification Event 2017 - Team USA prepared for Epic battles against Canada

Women's Team USA Floorball will play a round of two games against Canada during the World Floorball Championship Qualification event February 3rd and 4th in Markham, Ontario.  The winner will participate in the 2017 World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia.

As Team USA plays a qualification round against Canada, in Toronto, to reach the World Floorball Championship, the team has emerged with developments that include new leaders as well as new players. "This is a very exciting time for North American Floorball" says Mrs. Tiffany Gerber, Captain of the team.

The US Women's team have players from some of the best leagues in the world as well as local talent from hometown USA. "With several players now graduating from the U19 level, our intent is to have them schooled into the more competitive adult female level", continued Tiffany Gerber, Captain of the team.

Ms. Alva Helber, with roots from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and who lives in Sweden, exclaimed; "Yes, this feels good and it will be a great thing to meet Canada again".

Head Coach Anne Jumppanen stated, "We have had a couple of great training sessions over here. Now we have to figure out how to use our team to secure victories against Canada in two straight games and therefore have the United States of America represented at the World Floorball Championship in Bratislava".
