After an intense weekend of great floorball action at the Round Rock Sport Center Menlo Park came out on top wining the US Nationals final by 1-0 against BosDiego.
The weekend started with the group stage where ten teams battled it out for the best seeding possible for Sunday's playoffs. Saturday saw a lot of even and exciting games. As did Sunday.

The two play-in games saw an early local upset in the playoffs was when Lonestar beat the Dallas Fireballs, 3-2, in a shootout. At the same time the Women's National team fell by 0-2 to Austin 2.
In the quarterfinals Austin 1 defeated Houston 4-1 and the Manhattan Kings defeated the U19+ by 4-1. In the second round of quarterfinals Bos-Diego defeated Lonestar by 6-1 and Menlo Park defeated Austin 2 by 6-0.
The early rounds of the playoffs saw a lot of goals but the later rounds of the playoffs didn't as the teams tightened their defenses.
In the semifinals BosDiego defeated Austin by 3-1 and Menlo Park won by 2-1 over the Manhattan Kings.
Just as the final began the bronze medal game ended with the Manhattan Kings coming out on top. The final would be a dramatic one. After only 23 seconds Menlo Park scored. The play then shifted back and fourth but there where no more goals, despite a number of good plays by both teams. The final ended 1-0 to Menlo Park.
