USA Floorball is pleased to announce that the roster of the Men's U19 Team going to the 2015 U19 WFC, has been made official. Team USA is directly qualified to the 8th Men's U19 World Floorball Championships played in Helsingborg, Sweden April 29th - May 3rd.
The extensive, year-long selection process was spearheaded by General Manager, Daniel Palm and Head Coach, Joel Olofsson (FC Helsingborg).
"We are very pleased with the overall effort of the players who were a part of the final selection process," said Daniel Palm.
Seventeen players have been selected to participate in the WFC. Team USA will face Hungary, Denmark and Canada in Group C. The U.S team opens against Hungary on April 29, followed by Denmark on April 30 and Canada on May 1, at Idrottens Hus in Helsingborg.
"This is a great group of talented players that we have selected and we are confident that our participation in the U19 WFC will be a success. We have a good mix of player material - each individual offers a unique set of skills so they are able complement each other on the court," said Olofsson.
