U.S. Men's Team Break into the Top Ten!

When the International Floorball Federation released their latest ranking the U.S. Men's team had taken the biggest leap of all. Gaining 9 positions they now stand at number 10. A position well earned, not least after their effort at the World Floorball Championships in Gothenburg.

─ We put in a great effort in Gothenburg and with a few lucky bounces we could have climbed even higher, says General Manager Adam Troy.

The top ten ranking doesn't come as a surprise though. Those following the Men's team will remember assistant coach Vince Faso's bold proclamation before the WFC.
─- We want to crack the top 10. Period. We want the floorball world to recognize that USA is getting dangerous. Teams should begin to fear us. He stated in this article.

Team USA looks to use their new found success to continue to boost floorball on a national level and the future looks bright.
─- Our main focus for the national team is as a tool for the growth of floorball in the states. We see our position in the World rankings as a great way to promote floorball as a whole. The emergence of the Men's U19 is also a big step towards future success as they are an important part of the future of floorball for the U.S..
