USA Floorball Exploring a Youth National Team

USA Floorball proposing to create a Youth National Team to support youth development.

With the objective of feeding players to the two Under 19 national teams, USA Floorball is proposing the creation of a Youth National Team, consisting of both girls and boys.  Having a formal national team for the U16-U14 age group category serves a demographic that needs attention to spur and accelerate long term development of floorball in the USA.

Although the team is at a very early development stage, we have already received invitations to play at Singapore Open and some initial contact has been made with Storvretacupen and Gothia Innebandy Cup in Sweden.  Another possible tournament, where such a team could participate, is Prague Floorball Cup, an international floorball tournament for youth taking place in the Czech Republic.
