"Highlight of the Year for All Floorballers"

In less than a month the Nationals will take place in Round Rock, Texas. And it looks like it is going to be a great event.

- This is the highlight of the year for all floorballers in the US. This is where the best teams in the US come to compete for the most prestigious award of the year, the honor and the bragging rights to be the official US National Champion, says USA Floorball President Calle Karlsson.

And he knows what he is talking about. He was part of the San Francisco team that won the Nationals in 2014 in Colorado Springs. They beat BosDiego in overtime by 6-5 in a thrilling final game. You can find a report on the 2014 Nationals here.

- Any player wanting to know how they or their team perform against the best floorball teams in the US, and soak in the amazing floorball atmosphere surrounding the event itself, need to come to the Nationals, Calle Karlsson continues.

So far Houston FC, two teams from Austin, Colorado, SF Bay Area and BosDiego have signed up for the event. But more signups are on the way and expectations are high.

- We are expecting 20 teams and the biggest National event ever in USA Floorball history! USA Floorball President Calle Karlsson concludes.

Besides the tournament itself that is played over the 19th—20th September weekend there is also a development camp the days before that will be monitored by all national teams. A great chance to develop your floorball skills as well as get noticed for future national team events. Who knows you could be playing against the best in the world at the next World Floorball Championships!
