It’s with great pride that we announce the 2022 Golden Gate Cup, December 3 -4.

We are honored to have been able to host this tournament in Northern California for the past 12 years.

Come join us for the Premier Floorball Tournament in the US, where teams compete at the highest level and the winning team in each division wins $1,000.00 registration credit at the next US Nationals.

This is sure to be an epic battle between new and past US Floorball champions!

The 2021, 2018, 2016 and 2021 US National champions, Menlo Park FC will defend their Golden Gate Cup 2021 championship.

Take this opportunity to play against them and many other great teams from all over the USA.

NTFA, the US National Champions 2022 will defend their unbeaten tournament streak in 2022. They have won all the official USA Floorball tournaments in the US this year, who will stop them at GGC?

The Golden Gate Cup will be played at Silver Creek Sportsplex in San Jose, CA. This is the same amazing facility as past years.

This tournament is sanctioned by the USA Floorball Association and requires a USA Floorball membership. This is a non-profit event and all proceeds from this event will go to support our US National teams competing at the WFC’s.

USA Floorball membership is required for all participants.

Adult team fee:
Early team registration Before 10/15/2022 $900.00
Late team registration After 10/15/2022 $1200.00

Free agents:
Early individual Player Registration Before 10/15/2022 $200.00
Late individual Player Registration After: 10/15/2022 $300.00

Disclaimer: there is no guarantee that free agents will be able to join an existing team. Golden Gate Cup will do everything in its power to make accommodations to free agents. Teams in need of players are encouraged to work with Golden Gate Cup to find available players.

Schedule:
Preliminary tournament schedule will be released NLT 15 days before the tournament. Final schedule will be posted EOD, November 25.

COVID-19 protocol:
USA Floorball and any venue used, always applies local and state protocols and rules for every tournament. COVID-19 rules and regulations are subject to change. In case of cancelation because of COVID-19, it will be communicated to all teams and players via the USA floorball website as soon as possible based on state government regulations and communications.

Golden Gate Cup does not guarantee a refund for team or player registration fees in case of tournament cancellation. Golden Gate Cup will do everything in its power to return any fees collected, but this is all pending on the venue cancelation policies for COVID-19 protocols.

Awards and recognition:
Sunday, Dec 4^th, 4pm or immediately after the final game.
Awards will be given to teams placing 1st, 2nd & 3^rd during the Sunday awards ceremony following the final game.
There will be trophies for Golden Gate Cup MVP, Most goals, Points assists and “biggest hacker”.
