USA Floorball Names Caitlin Bebout WNT General Manager

After nearly 5 years of leadership by General Manager Alyssa Zinsser Hall and a group of Team Managers including Sara Alexandersson and Ann Lövgren, USA Floorball is excited to announce changes for the Women’s National Team. Under the leadership of Zinsser Hall, Alexandersson and Lövgren, the United States has successfully competed at every World Floorball Championship, most recently defeating Singapore in a thrilling overtime game to place 15th in the world in Ostrava, Czech Republic. USA Floorball wants to make sure to thank these Women for their great efforts to move our program forward. Our program wouldn't be in the position it is today without them!

One veteran of the team and respected leader of United States Floorball will now take the reins and guide the future of the most successful National Team Program the US has seen. New General Manager, Caitlin Bebout, officially takes over planning and execution of team details after the conclusion of the most recent WFC.

Caitlin is a veteran of the team and program and has represented the United States in multiple International Competitions. She brings a familiarity with the organization, the competitions, and the broader community of Floorball in America.

The new GM appreciates where we’ve been.

“The U.S. Women’s Floorball team already has a talented and competitive group that has proven it belongs on the international stage. My focus is on building from that foundation by increasing visibility for this incredible team, creating more opportunities to train and play together, and strengthening continuity and development.”

And crucially, she’s looking to the future already.

“Over time, I hope to help grow the women’s game in the U.S. in a way that complements our existing talent and supports a deeper, more sustainable program.”

For those individuals involved with the team and excited about what comes next, Bebout is already setting the agenda.

“In the near term, the focus is on expanding and engaging our player pool and creating more opportunities to train and compete together. Over the next few cycles, that growth will allow us to consistently field competitive rosters that put Team USA on the map at the World Games, World Championships, national tournaments, and beyond.”
