As Brian Radichel's term as GM has come to a close Keene Addington has now been confirmed as new GM for the Men's Under-19 national team.
"After several years as General Manager of the MU19 team I feel I have taken the program forward and it is time to pass the torch," says former GM Brian Radichel.
New GM Keene Addington is mostly known as a fierce player and leader in the Chicago floorball community. He has played and coached with Chicago as well as organized several successful tournaments. He has also been serving as assistant GM for the MU19 but will now be stepping up into the larger GM role.
"I wish Keene the best of luck. During his stint as assistant GM he has shown me he has what it takes to bring this program forward and I look forward to following the MU19 as a spectator," Brian Radichel concludes.
Keene Addington is more than ready to step up and his first task will be this coming weekend as the MU19 have a team competing in Chicago at the U.S. Nationals.
"Floorball is a passion of mine and I will do my very best to further develop the program from where Brian has marvelously brought it to. We will aim to be successful and competitive while also being respectful to all involved. My goal is to grow the program as much as possible with more players and to also have an energetic, fun and positive group of people working together to further enhance floorball in the USA, specifically in the Men's U19 program," says new GM Keene Addington before he concludes.
"I am incredibly appreciative to Brian for setting up the next Men's U19 GM for success. His accomplishments in the program are to be hugely celebrated."
